Warranty & Returns Policy
Due to the complex and often custom nature of desktop and laptop computers, we do not offer returns for refunds or credit.
Any hardware faults with laptop and desktop computers will be remedied under this warranty policy and in accordance with the original manufacturer warranty processes.
This warranty is valid if the computer:
- Was not damaged by the purchaser's software or hardware, including incompatibility;
- Was not damaged due to misuse, overclocking, poor environmental conditions, or physical damage (such as having the computer setup in a damp garage where the computer components become rusted);
- Was operated under normal conditions of use in accordance to the respective manufacturer specifications;
- Was serviced once per eighteen months with the removal of any built-up dust inside the computer and on the computer components (desktops only);
- Had been supplied by Compulsion Tech and has not been altered by the purchaser in a way that could impact the system's ability to operate as per the original requirements;
- Is presented with the original invoice number / order number so Compulsion tech can match the warranty documentation for the products.
For computer monitors, accessories and peripherals such as keyboards and mice, RMA's for these products will be carried out in accordance with the original manufacturer warranty policy. Usually this involves simply being returned to the distributor who will then organise repair or replacement of the product with the manufacturer directly.
This warranty shall not apply to products that have been used to a degree outside of normal manufacturer intended use, which shall include but is not limited to "MINING" operations, for example data, cryptocurrency and farm mining.
Determination of damage or defect, as a result of any modifications, misuse or overclocking by purchaser, will be at the sole discretion of Compulsion Tech. Any repair charges arising due to any modification the purchaser has made, will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
Return freight costs may, at Compulsion Tech's sole discretion, be the responsibility of the purchaser if the returned product is deemed to not be covered under Compulsion Tech's limited warranty. Return to purchaser freight costs for repaired or replacement product will be covered by Compulsion Tech for one year starting from the original purchase date. After one year, return freight cost must be covered by the purchaser.
The purchaser acknowledges that the goods sold by Compulsion Tech are being used or incorporated into other products or systems, and the ultimate safety of those products or systems are the sole responsibility of Purchaser. Purchaser assumes all risks and liability of use of Compulsion Tech products in other products or systems. Purchaser agrees that it and/or its customers are solely responsible and agrees that the use of Compulsion Tech products for any purpose related to such services or otherwise cannot in any way be controlled by Compulsion Tech, and Purchaser or its customers are responsible for verifying the accuracy and completeness of any information contained in, entered into, or used in connection with Compulsion Tech products. Purchaser assumes all risks and liability for use of Compulsion Tech products in other product or systems. Third party products and/or systems are including but not limited to motherboards and other system components are not covered by this warranty. In no event shall Compulsion Tech be liable for any damages of any kind sustained by Purchaser, any customer of Purchaser, or others for any suit or claim or demand arising from the use of Compulsion Tech's products.
