Buying a PC in 2026?
Lock in pricing while lower-cost stock remains.
Component pricing has continued to escalate sharply. Since September 2025, RAM pricing has now increased by
approximately 600%, with no meaningful relief expected in the near term.
SSD pricing has now increased by around 300% since September levels, and graphics card pricing
has also begun moving higher as supply tightens with prices already increasing by around 20%. You can view the Radio New Zealand article below where our founder Ben is interviewed about the current market situiation.

Supply remains constrained and suppliers are advising us to prepare for continued pricing increases until at least 2027.
We bought as much bulk lower inventory as possible at the end of 2025 and early 2026, but once this lower cost stock is exhausted, our costs will continue to
rise across RAM, SSDs, GPUs, and now we are bracing for CPU pricing
increases ahead.
If you are considering a new system, placing your order sooner rather than later helps lock in current pricing
while lower cost components are still available. Waiting is will mean paying more in the future.
