The Founder

I'm Ben Maxwell, the founder of Compulsion Tech.

Compulsion Tech was established in 2015 while I was a 13 year old junior high school student, born out of a keen passion to help people with my technology skills. My interest and expertise in the computer field grew extensively during my intermediate schooling years along with my aptitude to turn my newfound skillset into a proper business.

Now in my twenties, I have managed Compulsion Tech's significant growth for over 10 years with the addition of a commercial premises and a team. We have proudly supplied a range of computing equipment to thousands of happy customers nation wide, whilst always maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction, service, and value.

I'm Bailey

" I’ve been part of the Compulsion Tech team as the lead computer technician for 2 years now. For me, the highlight of my job is the finished computer as I view my work as a form art of which I blend quality and functionality to make every system not only look beautiful, but also perform exceptionally. I love putting together all the newest and greatest hardware that someone outside of my line of work could only ever dream of, such as dual RTX 5090 Threadripper systems!

Outside of work, I tend to be working on or riding my motorcycle, I am proud to own a 2020 Triumph Street Triple that I love taking out for rides with my mates. I also enjoy gaming in between my busy schedule. There’s a small chance that if you look up, you might see me flying a plane as I work towards getting my Private Pilots license! I love aviation and am working towards becoming a commercial pilot! "

I'm Micah

" I have been a part of the Compulsion Tech team for over a year now where my main responsibilities involve assembling and testing the systems. My favourite part of the job, is the hands-on building process. There’s something incredibly satisfying about watching a computer come to life, especially that first moment when it powers on. I’ve always been fascinated by technology and how things work, so being able to experience the behind-the-scenes side of it here at Compulsion Tech has been amazing.

Outside of work, I'm into a range of hobbies from gaming, movie fandom, sports, and drawing. If I’m not building PCs, you’ll probably find me chipping through my endless movie watchlist or hanging with my friends at the basketball court. "

I'm Cooper

" I am the newest member of the Compulsion Tech team. The key parts of my role include assembly of prebuilt systems, prepping components and assisting the team when required. I find it satisfying to unbox the components and seeing them through into the final machine, then testing them to ensure they run their best and look perfect before they get sent off to their new homes.

Outside of work, I like to spend time outdoors, whether it is playing basketball or just sitting outside enjoying the sunshine. I also enjoy playing some video games with my friends and spending time with my family. "
